Dr. John A. Dobry Creates Healthy Smiles in Clinton Township

At a young age, Dr. John A. Dobry liked his family dentist, which ultimately led him to choose dentistry as a career. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, which he attended as an Evans Scholar (a prestigious scholarship for golf caddies). Then he earned his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 1983.

Today, Dr. Dobry is committed to lifelong training as a way to offer you the best dental care possible. He is a member of esteemed organizations like:

• The Seattle Study Club
• The American Dental Association
• The Michigan Dental Association
• The Macomb County Dental Association

Most recently, Dr. Dobry completed his second yearlong, hands-on training program with Summit Oral Surgery on dental implant treatment planning and restoration. His efforts led to his peers voting him Top Dentist in 2008 in Hour Detroit magazine.

Creating relationships with his patients is the best part about his job. Dr. Dobry feels that his patients enjoy coming to our practice because he and our team take the time to get to know them and address their concerns.

Dr. Dobry participates in the community by serving in the Knights of Columbus. He is also a member of BNI, a group of local business people. He and his wife, Suzanne, have an adult daughter, Angela, who is a graduate of the University of Michigan–Dearborn campus. In his spare time, you might find him with family, out on the golf course with friends, or cheering on his beloved Maize and Blue.
